art and creation during a pandemic

It has been four months since the world has made its dramatic change in reaction to a pandemic. With no end in sight, our communities are stunned with an extreme change in paths. The unknown has been building a sense of anxiety for individuals and communities alike. The hurricane of globalised tabloid-like noise is instilling a sense of fear and panic, destructing hope and now is the time to create art to restore the hope of humankind.

The human existence no longer has a sense of security. There are no cures or vaccines for coronavirus pandemic, world leaders are playing more into user engagement than focussing on country needs and systemic faults, the economy’s reliance on fast and non-essential consumerism is taking a dramatic plunge.

Like most major events in history, the shift of human behaviour is likely as we are conditioned to accommodate these new and uncertain times to survive, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally being the complex and intellectual race we are.

It has been a time I have been most certainly reflecting upon, considering the most important and valuable elements of life to avoid exploring the future of the unknown. During this time, I have delved deep into my soul to filter the unnecessary noise of society and status to understand the importance of following passions, especially for the creative types and in doing so, I have decided to commit to art again and simplify my life. It has been the most consistent passion and practice I have maintained throughout my transient life and it is time I give up on taking heart of others’ sensibilities and not give a fuck. Creation of art should be pure from the soul of the individual, untainted by the expectations of society.

I hope you may find this new website I have finally created to be an interesting exploration of my evolution during this time.

I continue to look forward to reuniting with those who have always supported me and to continue finding beauty in this world we live in and the curse of human nature.
